Advantages of FFM62 Series of Intelligent Electromagnetic Flowmeters

The greatest advantage of FFM62 series of intelligent electromagnetic flowmeters is that they are very stable without excursion and they have good repeatability.

FFM62 intelligent electromagnetic flowmeters adopt low-frequency rectangular wave excitation with stable exciting current. This way of excitation only has a little interference by electromagnetism; it does not generate eddy effect and polarization; besides, it also has only a little quadrature interference and in-phase interference. Therefore, the electromagnetic flowmeters have following advantages: little current, low power consumption, no heating, stable zero point, no excursion and little pollution and influence of electrodes.

The output of the electromagnetic flowmeter is not related to the flow states (laminar flow and turbulence) under symmetrial distributions; so, its range ratio is very large and it can be as large as 100:1;. Its range of measurable flow rate is 0.3 ~ 12m/s ( extended range: 0.1 ~15m/s).These series of flowmeters can measure flow rate of conductive fluids like smudgy mediums, caustic mediums, suspended solid liquid medias.

There is no any part in the measuring tubes to block fluids from flowing, what contact fluids are only electrodes and the linings with no blocking or sticking. In accordance with corrosiveness, abrasiveness and different temperatures of mediums, different linings and electrodes are selected to measure smudgy mediums, caustic mediums, suspended solid liquid medias.

No additional pressure drop or power consumption.These is no mechanical inertia. The flowmeters act sensitive and they can measure instantaneous pulsating flow and also flow rates in two opposite directions.Measurements will be influenced by changes of temperature, viscosity, density and conductivity (within a certain range) and will keep stable.The converters are with LCD displays. The menus can be set through keys. The standard output signal is frequency signal, 4~200mA current output are available.
